Questions on this topic

Is the target the exit price?

No. The target is a theoretical price, used to place the levels. The exit is decided by the algorithm: it can come before the target or well beyond it. The bar on the card extends when the price goes past the target.

How do the stop and the levels work?

The levels are placed every 25% of the distance between the entry and the target: 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%, then beyond. They go up for a Long and down for a Short.

The stop does not follow the price continuously. It is the levels, crossed one by one, that secure the gain.

What does Position size mean?

The share of the buying power available at the time of the strategy, as prescribed by the algorithm, in %. It is an indication only: Ticks does not know your capital and places no orders.

Why is the result in % and never as an amount?

For the same reason: Ticks places no orders. So the result is always shown in % from the entry price.

How do I read the chart?

Choose the candle duration (5 min, 1 h, 4 h, 1 D). The lines show the target, the next level, the secured level or the stop, the entry price and the current price. The rotate button shows the chart in full screen, in landscape.
